What is Schedulr?

Schedulr is a tool to view GamesDoneQuick runs and set reminders for specific runs. Ten minutes before the run starts, you will receive a notification via Discord.

What is GamesDoneQuick?

GamesDoneQuick is a charity event where people play games as fast as possible to raise money for charity. The event is organized by the Games Done Quick Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. GamesDoneQuick has existed since 2010 and is the biggest speedrunning event in the world, with over 40 million dollars raised for charity.

How do I create a reminder?

Log in with your Discord account, navigate to the homepage, and click the bell icon on the run you want to be reminded about. You will receive a Discord notification ten minutes before the run starts.

Question 4

How do I remove a reminder?

Accepted Answer

Click the bell icon on a run that already has a reminder. This removes the reminder, and you will no longer receive a Discord notification before that run starts.

Does Schedulr support other events?

Currently, we are focusing on the main GamesDoneQuick events, Awesome Games Done Quick and Summer Games Done Quick. We plan to add support for other events in the future.

Do I need to be logged in to use Schedulr?

Accepted Answer

No, you do not need to be logged in to use Schedulr. The schedule is public and can be viewed without logging in. However, you need to be logged in with Discord to set reminders.

Question 7

What data is being used and stored?

We only store your Discord ID, name, and avatar. We need this data to identify you and send you notifications via Discord. You can see which data you are sharing when you are redirected to Discord's authorization page. We do not ask for or store any sensitive information from Discord or any other services.

Is Schedulr available on mobile devices?

Schedulr is a web application that works on all devices, including smartphones and tablets.

When are VODs added to the schedule?

Accepted Answer

VODs should be added automatically when the run is uploaded to GDQ's YouTube channel. If a VOD is available but has not been added automatically, we will add it manually. Some segments are not uploaded to the official GDQ YouTube channel. These will not be added.
